Is this a good metaphor? I'm not sure.
But what I AM sure about is this workshop.
It'll show you how to write for clarity and impact so people stick around, care about what you say and take action.
In this workshop we'll cover:
💗 How to write with intent: unless you’re NIKE, being told to JUST DO IT probably won’t work for you. So before I teach you any helpful word things, I’m going to teach you a helpful brain thing to get you in the mood (to write better).
🧬 Headlines & hooks : in the olden days, we’d just scream in people’s faces and stomp our feet until they give us what we want, but now we’re not 3 years old anymore, I’m going to show you 4 cool non-shouty techniques to make a major impact (with your words)
🏋🏽 Structure & storytelling: please don’t groan. I promise I’m not going to do a TedTalk about 🍃 The Power of Story 🍃 I want you to use your new skills ASAP, so here is where I show you how storytelling and structuring your words clearly will make people hang onto every word you share.
🪄 4 easy tactics: practical stuff goes here. I’m going to show you 4 easy tactics you can use RIGHT NOW to improve everything you write. Even if all you’re sharing is a Slack update or a post-it. People will start finding it very hard to ignore your words.
🍭 How to write a good call to action: if you write with impact and clarity, you’ll make people take action. Whether that’s getting a sign up, or selling a service, or getting an answer to a poll question, I’ll show you how a good CTA will help you.
Workshop bit: Houston, We have 5 major problems. I show you the 5 places I ALWAYS find copy problems in small businesses, and I'll show you how to improve them for clarity and impact. You also get a bonus cheat sheet with reminders to prompt you when you need to write these 5 things in future.
My goal with all my workshops is to deliver something fun, easy to watch and easy to action, so if you're expecting to be bored to death, this is NOT the right workshop for you.
