My name is Gonçalo and I am 31 years old. Borned in Lisbon, Portugal, and I am a total enthusiast about Finances. I have a bachelor in Finance and a Masters degree in Management.
Why "My Wallet Plan"?
I currently work in a major European bank in the financial department for the capital markets. However, I do not see myself working at the bank many more years. I see banks doing billions and billions in profits year after year, even more during this inflation and rising interest rates crisis, and they do not share anything with the society (workers included).
They push consumer credit loans for people in need with fancy slogans, "offering" huge interest rates, creating situations where those people get to a point where they need to choose whether they should eat or pay their huge interest obligations.
Also, I think that finance should be taught to everyone as a way to promote better financial decisions and create a society where everyone has the opportunity to build a very solid financial structure.
For that reasons, I could not stay either quite or seated on my sofa while I see this happening all around the world. Some small part of the society keeps getting richer, while the other gets indebted and poorer.
The goal of "My Wallet Plan" is to reach as many people as possible and provide them the tools to make it happen. First to budget and save, and then to grow and build other revenue streams (soon).
As I believe those tools should be almost free ($1 for the budgeting google sheets), you can choose whatever amount you feel its fair to support my work.
