Greetings and Happy New Year to all. I had to take some time to start new. Well, the season is over and good riddance. We lost and lost but now things are looking up. The Jets have lots of draft capital and cap space to find the needed players to turn things around. To start the Jets have two first round picks 2-16 and two second round picks at 33-44. and a total of 10 picks to start. But that can change. In my humble opinion I think they should build a shut down 3 and out Defense. Teams ran over us with ease last year and there are some really good defensive players in the draft. I learned a lot about college ball and the draft process, trading up and down the draft board. It is amazing what can happen if most goes well.
On a mock draft simulator I ended up with Rubin Baine, Sonny Styles, Mansoor Delane, and Elijah Sarratt. with the first 4 picks. Three defensive studs and a wide receiver 2 the Jets need. I took part in about 25 -30 mock drafts and the results were very close. But as time moves on you can see the change as some players declared for the draft and others stayed in school. Amazing how the order can change.
So I will share my thoughts and insights here and video form. The weather is extremely cold and most of my videos are outside. But once the temps get back in the 20 degree range we can go for it. I am no longer on YouTube or rumble, but have a smaller private platform. Hopefully the links will will work here.
