Hello for the last time from Uzbekistan! (for now!)
Its been a real privilege to spend so much time in the beautiful and mysterious countries of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. Again, we've made new friends in unusual ways and strange places. Like Farrux (top left pic), a shepherd we met high in the mountains above Samarkand. And a whole scrappy crew of hikers in Tajikistan, from Germany to Russia, but all with a passion for the great outdoors.
Our Central Asian exploration will finally conclude with a continuous 200 mile hike across much of Kyrgyzstan beginning next week, so make sure to follow us on Facebook for the latest updates!
And I'm honored to share with all of our followers that this last week Samantha and I were featured in a Macedonian newspaper, the Expres!
