2024, March 4th: First time I heard a Chelsea Wolfe album I was absolutely floored by how beautiful her voice is and how creative and compelling the listening experience was. That first listen made me a fan and a follower of her work. The level of her output is astonishing. Not from the quantity but the originality in the discography and connected works.
With the newest Chelsea Wolfe album titled She Reaches Out To She Reaches Out To She (that is not a typo, btw) we have another fresh vision that is beautifully constructed, well delivered and a unique artistic piece within her style. Everything I wanted yet nothing that was expected.
The best way to approach this is with an open mind looking for a seductive voice and music that is not afraid to break all of the boundaries that you have previously known. There are a few spots in here that are harsh in a dynamic arc, but the overall vibe is a smokey warm blanket for the ears.
