Hi! My name is Paloma, but you may know me as Mont. I'm a completely self-taught dreamer. I taught myself both piano and guitar, as well as singing. I've been writing songs, alone, in my room for the past 4 years. Fruit of this work, I have crafted an entirely self-written debut album. Inspired by jazz classics, poetical verses and vintage pop. In a mix of languages, each song tells a story. My story.
As an independent artist, it can feel scary pouring my heart into this without a team or record label to back me up. But I believe there must be a reason for me to create. Even if just one person relates and connects to my music, then I will know I'm on the right path.
For this reason I am currently learning to produce my own music, experimenting with sounds and diving into the unknown. I don't want to wait for the perfect moment. I don't want to hope for an executive or label owner to believe in my project so I can start believing in it myself. There's no more perfect moment than right now.
But I must admit it's definitely a little terrifying doing this all on my own. That's why having this community we're building is so important to me. I'm extremely thankful to each and every person who's been consistently supporting my journey.
These are my goals for 2026:
Releasing my debut album: finally putting my collection of musical tales out in the world would be a dream come true.
Change of scenery: moving to Paris, the city which inspired my vision for this record.
Gear: purchasing more tools like a condenser microphone, monitors and perhaps a new laptop to improve my production.
Your support could really me help me fulfil these goals. But support doesn't necessarily mean literal money, it also comes in the form of active presence: likes, comments, shares and follows. I see each and every person who's consistently rooting for me. And that feeling is priceless.
