Hi there! I’m Atenas!
I’m a crochet pattern designer and instructor living the life in Sarasota, FL.
A few years ago, I began to film YouTube tutorials to help teach others to crochet. I learned to crochet shortly after my kiddo was born to help keep me busy while she slept. Originally, I tried to learn to knit, but in my sleep-derived, new mom, zombie state, it was much too difficult for me to grasp. So instead, I turned to crochet. I was hooked and couldn’t put it down! I watched countless hours of YouTube tutorials, and practiced daily. Once I got the hang of it, I started designing my own projects.
The purpose of my work, is share the love of crochet with other creatives of the world. I love to share my patterns, and videos with you all and hope that they help teach and inspire others to crochet.
