Minnesota Then has been an "official" thing for a little more than a month. In that time lots of improvements have been made to the website and web app's foundation. Quite a bit has changed since the day we took a step back and considered our work done.
There are three big changes amidst the many improvements:
We have changed the map design. It made the map page more sleek looking and user friendly.
We have turned the FAQ page into a Help Center.
We have added a Locations Map page, so users can see every site we offer (and maybe discover some they'd never heard of). They can read about the site and get driving/biking/walking directions to it from Google Maps.
Everything we are doing comes down to accessibility. We want everyone with a smartphone and Internet connection to have the chance to learn about Minnesota history, either from their computer chair or (if they're able) firsthand at a historical location.
Going forward we will transition to adding content. While there will always be time to improve the site, content is our focus.
