I took a little tour around the newly renovated Pixar Place hotel last week and was truly impressed! From the moment you walk into the lobby and see a giant Luxo to the piano corner where Joe Gardner will play sometimes, the details they included in this newly themed hotel are nothing short of INCREDIBLE (get it, cause The Incredibles 😅).
Everywhere you turn there is some detail from a Pixar movie. It is even more noticeable at the check-in area where they have giant photos from popular Pixar films on each wall. They even have Luca paintings by the elevators!
And the pool area?? Of course it is Finding Nemo themed, with Crush at the top of the water slide. On the night I was there, they were playing "Soul" by the snack bar which was adorable.
While I did not have a chance to see the rooms, the hallways looked great, definitely a step up from the Paradise Pier theme.
I also really love the Great Maple Restaurant. They have both healthy and indulgent options for brunch, lunch and dinner. I am hoping to have brunch there soon, and will report back on the selections!
I am very happy with the improvements made at this hotel. It now feels like a step up from the "Value" hotel it was with Paradise Pier.
Now it might be time to book a staycation...
