Honouring our Teachers

Honouring our Teachers

Oct 08, 2021

I’ve been holding Circles for about 7-years and there are many people who have influenced, informed and helped me along the way. From the first circle I attended to friends, family, mentors, teachers, writers, artists, elders, healers, coaches and circle holders.

During that time I’ve also completed many trainings including culinary nutrition, intuition and EFT, as well as business courses, masterminds, and celtic studies and fairytales.

It’s a long list and my intention is always to honour the lineage of my circle work by citing my sources, linking to work that inspires mine, naming teachers and collaborators and sharing their work, and interviewing folk who inspire or have contributed to my work.

I also acknowledge and respect those teachers whose work no longer feels aligned for me. They may no longer inform my work, but they have contributed to my learning and where appropriate, I will still name them.

image There are also the many Instagram posts I’ve seen and the books I’m reading and random conversations and time with nature…..they all weave their way into how I think, imagine, understand, explore, create and share about my circle work.

I learnt this practice of honouring the lineage of my work from @hiroboga in her book The World of your Business Playbook.

I invite you to take some time in your monthly reflection to explore the lineage of your circles and / or business.
