Hi everyone,
A few years back there used to be a public scanner feed for Missoula, but it eventually went offline. After that, I decided to take it on myself to bring a new feed to Missoula with an emphasis on clear audio, reliable uptime, and good coverage.
I’ve invested a few hundred dollars into getting the setup right so it sounds clean and can stay online around the clock. Since starting it this summer, I’ve gotten messages and emails from people who appreciate being able to listen again. That kind of feedback means a lot, and it makes me proud to have taken the time to put this together.
Internet and power aren’t huge costs, but they are ongoing ones. If you enjoy having the Missoula scanner available 24/7 and want to pitch in a few bucks to help cover those expenses, that would be awesome. The feed will always stay free and open to everyone, but this page gives anyone who wants to support it a simple way to do so.
It’s been really fun to see the local interest, and I hope this can continue to be a small community project we all share. Thanks for listening, and for helping keep Missoula connected, especially to those who reach out to report problems or simply to say thanks for hosting the feed.
You can now reach me here, I love to talk scanners, tech, equipment, anything! And of course you can still always email me as well. Talk soon!
