Hello!
I taught my fourth Mini Musicians class at the library today! It was all about Rhythm. We had 5 students in attendance and everyone participated!
My alter ego, Professor Pitch, taught the whole class! We learned about Whole Notes, Half Notes, and Quarter Notes.
One of our visual was created by my wife. It was a "Whole Note Cake" which we used to explain how to sub-divide the beat! 
We played drums, practiced some music math and even made our own Paper Tambourines! Here is a video on the Mini Musicians YouTube Page on Making the Tambourines:
