More Than Plenty

Stupid me I have no job,

I just sit around and heal,

And research healing and talk about healing -

Things that heal me, maybe you too - we’re both human, yeah? Then some things we can share.

The judgment of me is yours to keep,

I have my own, you see, and it’s

More than plenty for me.

But oh my hoity-toity self,

I put your poison on the shelf,

I’ve had a taste of my own,  you see,

And it’s more than plenty for me.

Let me dream my dreams,

Put them in a book;

One some can hold, in a kindle, in a nook,

Or a real-life book.

Would you take a look?

Burn the fearful vibes!

I look into my eyes, light a fire and die

Inside myself again, aye!

Blow some smoke in my face,

Condemn some condemnation of race,

Hurl our shit into cyberspace,

Make a mockery of taste,

Put someone else in their place,

Forget it all leaves a trace.

Why slay your dragons when I’ve got mine

and we can’t stand to hear you whine;

You’ve got energy to spare,

Why not go and poke a bear?!

And then lay on a heart that guilt

That could make a flower wilt,

And curse the bear for what it does

When you make a silly fuss.
