About Nadine Shaw
Midlife Rebel Podcast
The Midlife Rebel was born out of my own midlife story — although I didn't realise that at the time.
It wasn't until I was well into the podcast journey that I began to recognise the thread running through my own experiences and so many of the stories my guests were sharing.
Midlife is a real thing.
There can be a growing sense that something isn't quite right. The things that once mattered may not matter in quite the same way. Our roles change. Our bodies change. Our priorities change. And the stories we've carried about who we are and how our lives are supposed to look can start to feel like they don't quite fit anymore.
That's where the Midlife Rebel comes in.
She's the part of us that's willing to question those stories, challenge the rules we've lived by and decide for herself what stays, what goes and what comes next.
Because rebellion can lead to personal revolution. And personal revolution can create freedom.
Each week on The Midlife Rebel, I sit down with, authors, doctors, therapists, coaches, teachers, researchers, wisdom keepers and people with extraordinary stories to explore the many different ways we experience and navigate midlife.
These conversations explore identity, health and ageing, menopause, relationships, purpose, spirituality, psychology, courage, reinvention — and what it means to create a life that fits who we are now.
I've also created a Guest Directory where you can discover the people who've joined me on the podcast, explore their work and connect with them beyond the conversation.

The Midlife Rebel is independently produced, and your support helps me continue creating the podcast and bringing these conversations to women navigating their own questions about who they are and what comes next.
If the podcast has made you think differently, introduced you to someone whose work has helped you, or simply made you feel a little less alone in your own midlife journey, you can support the show by buying me a coffee.
And thank you for listening.
Because there's a little bit of rebel in all of us....
