The big news from today is that, following months of scouting, Ferrari have selected 16 year old Belgian/Dutch driver Maya Weug to join their Driver Academy. She was one of four finalists to make it to Ferrari's scouting finals of the Girls on Track programme organised by the FIA.
Weug will now contest an F4 Championship in 2021, making history as the first female racing driver with Ferrari backing.
