On this special occasion I thought I'd share with you something that's totally transformed the way I drink wine!
Here in Egypt wine is somewhat difficult to drink sometimes, it can taste a bit heavy, sometimes a bit bitter. This is often the same for the cheaper boxed wines or just generally cheaper wines you can find. (You know when you invite a crowd over for a BBQ and wine disappears like juice on a hot day, so you tend to buy the cheap and cheerful brand) 😂
Well I have something that's going to be a game changer, IF you don't really like wine, if it gives you a bit of heartburn, OR if you want to fancy-up your wine with a bit of something to make it totally LUSH and impress your friends!

I use dōTERRA essential oils in mine (yep stay with me, because this is amazing) and there are many ways and combinations to alter your wine with these, but here are 4 of my favourites! I'm focussing on white wine today, because this is what I'll be drinking on my birthday 🤩
Lemon
This is my Go-To essential oil, as just one drop in a glass totally transforms the flavour, giving it a citrusy twist and making it taste divine! You can mix Lemon with all sorts of drinks anytime, so take it in your handbag, use it always.
Lemongrass
Do a dab or a toothpick swirl with the Lemongrass as it can be a bit strong, but if you love oriental food like me (Birthday Sushi Y'all!) this is the one to go for, as it adds a touch of class and really brings out the Asian style flavours.
Bergamot
This would be my next Go-To after Lemon, as I can do a single drop in my wine and it tastes awesome. I love this in cocktails too, being an earthy flavour in my opinion, but it goes down SO well!
Tropical
I got this in my "Cuisine Box of Blends" and it's just soooo smooth, transforming wine into a cocktail almost, with a light, refreshing and sunshine filled taste, which you can pair with salads, fish, white meat... anything light really - it's just blooming brilliant.
