If you are feeling overwhelmed today, instead of volunteering to run an errand to get some alone time, tell everyone you are going to walk the dog(s) instead. This still gets you out of the house and gives you peace and quite. The difference is the errand is a chore and you may get you more anxious worrying about traffic, the store, timing etc. Instead of putting more responsibility and pressure on yourself, the walk outside in the brisk air with your pup will help you regulate whereas errands might heighten you. Leave your phone at home. The goal is to bring more relaxation. Don’t have a dog? The next best thing is taking out the trash…or walking the cat? 💃🏼 BREATH. You got this!! 💪🏼
