Taxidermy has always been something I’ve admired and mildly interested in. I was always hesitant to try it myself, but when the Jackelope class at Curious Nature in Phoenix, AZ came available I was lucky enough to have it gifted to me by my eldest sister!
It was certainly an experience, but I am very proud of myself that I pushed myself through, guts and all! The instructor was amazing at coaching all 8 of us women in the class. I’m happy to now have the knowledge of how the process works for small mammals. I would love to take more classes and further my taxidermy education!
