Why I’m sharing this?
I’ve been sitting with this for a while, unsure whether I should share something this honest. But, here’s the thing: I can’t be quiet anymore.
Writing this book was a way for me to release years of frustration with the world, with the lies we’re told about how life is fair or that everyone has an equal chance.
I’ve spent years trying to prove myself wrong. So I wrote this novel – full of raw, hard truths that might make some people uncomfortable.
But I’m sharing it now because… maybe someone else needs to hear this too. Maybe you’re sick of pretending everything’s fine, pretending everyone has the same shot. Maybe you’ve felt that rage, that sense of powerlessness, and you thought you were the only one.
So here it is. My truth.
This book isn’t about happy endings (however, after beta reader suggestion, it has a bittersweet ending).
I wrote it because I was tired of the lies: that everyone has the same chance to succeed, that if you “just believe in yourself,” the world will open up.
No. Life isn’t fair. Some people are born behind. Some are pushed down no matter how hard they try.
I wrote this novel to let that anger out.
To say what so many are afraid to.
And secretly… to prove myself wrong.
To prove that maybe – maybe – effort does matter. That stories can still crack something open. That readers will still find books like mine, even if I don’t have followers or connections.
'Nothing Will Change' is about resilience, fate, and fighting for your life when the world is already planned out without you.
If that hits you somewhere deep, this story might be for you.
I wrote it for people like you.
