The Civil-Military Cooperation (CIMIC) training in Poland opened new horizons for me in this field. During the program, I had the chance to meet colleagues from various countries, each of whom shared their unique experiences, approaches to solving complex challenges, and innovative methodologies. We explored real-world cases from peacekeeping missions, analyzed crisis scenarios, and studied communication strategies between civilian and military structures.
In addition to theoretical preparation, there were numerous practical exercises where we simulated scenarios from different global regions. This further reinforced the importance of CIMIC as a key to effective collaboration on modern battlefields. I found the sessions on working with local populations, building trust, planning humanitarian aid, and coordinating with international organizations particularly valuable.
This experience not only enhanced my professional skills but also helped me connect with like-minded individuals who share a passion for implementing modern approaches in challenging environments. The training was a significant step in my development, and I am confident that these insights will greatly benefit our work in Ukraine.
