I am a singer/songwriter from the Catskills of NY working on recording my third EP!

My goal is to raise money for the recording process, as I am hoping to create a high-quality experience for the people who listen to and support my music.

If you enjoy my music and are familiar with my songs, here are the songs I plan to record:

1. Birch - a song exploring my identity as a Russian immigrant in the United States, and coming to terms with the old memory of my childhood homeland that no longer exists. It's also a song that encapsulates what it feels like to be a third culture kid. It's also the first song I wrote in both English and Russian!

2. The Old Tree - a song about a tree that grew in the middle of the road in a suburban neighborhood in Georgia. It was a story told to me by a person I met by sharing my music online, whose community cherished this tree as a local landmark, and fought hard against the power company which cut it down. It explores the themes of native history, the tragedy of corporate greed destroying beloved local landmarks for profit, and community grief.

3. Everything Shows (re-recording with my band) - this will put a new groovy twist on an older song I have released. It will feature Eamon Lebow on guitar and Simon Efrein on drums. This is a fan favorite at local shows. It is a song exploring that no matter how hard we try to hide our personal shame and old secrets, they always end up coming to the surface.

4. Forgive You - a new song that explores the concept of forgiveness as a necessity in moving forward, as well as the value in reclaiming our power when we tell stories about our own past hurt. This will also be recorded with a band, and will have a darker/grungier feel than previous songs I have released.
