Day 30: The prep that I didn't give myself time for before day 1 still managed to show up, just on the flip side. Sometimes the recipe needs a little work, I look at my writing process the same way. I know what's worked for me but I'm not afraid to switch things up. This whole challenge was a switch up, in the best way. I’m confident in the character work and how that’ll show through the story. I think the toughest part of this challenge was just running with the blinders on and letting this thing become what it is. That probably pushed me in the beginning less than towards the end but it was in the back of my mind the whole time. No edits, zero. It’s a different way of going about getting the first draft done and I see the value but I don’t know how easy it would be to maintain that same structure, script after script. So, that leaves me with a day left of soft prep to get the little things lined up.
