What is Mangu Comics & What are its goals?
Mangu Comics was established with the goal of introducing the wider world to Pacific & Australian culture, through the use of visual and audio media's.
Project: SEVEN
The first project we wish to bring you is called 'SEVEN'. It is a mish mash of pop culture & mythology, envisioned & created by the founders of Mangu Comics; Bishop Mangu & Christian Heka-Tutahi, in conjunction with various artists Saifuddin of Sa'id Artz (@saizuart)
What are the goals of this project?
The goal of this project is to create an ongoing comic book series, with each issue being accompanied by a soundtrack. 'SEVEN' will be released episodically as each episode is funded, with goals of crowdfunding a graphic novel in the future!
What is SEVEN? & Where does it take place?
‘SEVEN’ takes place in a retro-cyberpunk/post-apocalyptic Australia. Set hundreds of years in the future after a cataclysmic event called ‘The Great Flood’.
'SEVEN' follows a group of brothers; each searching for their own meaning in life as the world slowly crumbles around them.
What are the inspirations behind SEVEN?
‘SEVEN’ is heavily inspired by the works of Frank Herbert, Isaac Asimov & J.R.R Tolkien and is set to release sometime in 2021-2022.
