The Black Wolves history is shrouded in mystery, what is known is that they did not originate on the continent, an excerpt of their founding myths & legends suggest that the Black Wolves resides within the dominion of Aotearoa (New Zealand) with other myths & legends suggesting their origins in Dai-Nippon. Whatever the case, the Black Wolves now dominate the wastes from atop their mountain stronghold, their military only matched by their southern Lakonian neighbours & by those employed by the “Mega-Cities”

Warlord of the Wolf
(Black-Wolf Family Branch Leader)
Warlord of the Wolf is the de facto leader of this branch of the clan, and receives orders from the Black Wolf himself. The Warlord of the Black-Wolf is responsible for administrative, and civil oversight of the Clans only stronghold; he acts as its protector & its primary defender. During conflict, this Warlord is issued command of the entire Clans military, essentially making this role the second-in-command beneath the Black Wolf himself. The current Warlord of the Black Wolf is unknown.

Sgt-At-Arms
(second-in-command)
Next in line is the Sgt-At-Arms of the Black-Wolf who is responsible for ensuring supply of the stronghold and ensuring loyalty amongst the the 2 Wolf-Packs. The current Sgt-In-Arms is unknown.
"The Black Wolves first appearance in Imperial History dates back eons, during the ascension of the Messiah sometime during 0AA or 01AA. The first mention of him states that he was a 'father' or 'guardian' of the Messiah himself; This is confusing as the modern Imperium considers him a terrorist, the most terrifying. I heard that he was responsible for the Crisis in the Pacific which started over 100 years ago. But i cannot be sure of this..."

Sentinel War-Chief
(Pack Sentinel)
The Sentinel War-Chief is responsible for securing the stronghold and scouring the immediate area for enemies or threats. On the battlefield they tend to use melee weapons and are usually the first into combat
Hunter War-Chief
(Pack Hunter)
The Hunter War-Chief is responsible for acquiring enough meat to feed the population of the strong hold and to keep its resident monsters pacified, on the battlefield the Hunters are employed as ranged units, preferring to ambush and snipe their enemies.
"Although I believe him not to be directly responsible I do believe that Black Wolf understands the machinations of the Messiah; considering that he and him were at least ,one point in time close. Could it be that this situation is more complicated than the Imperium wants us to believe? Whos to know..."

Each Warchief together with their respective Wolf-Captain leads their own Wolf-Pack. There are 2 Wolf packs with 400 or so members each. The total number of clan members exceeds 900; Although a small portion of those were non-combatants. Even though there numbers are low compared to the rest of the factions in the wastes, the Black Wolves more than make up for it with their technological superiority, military effectiveness and their pure brutality, or so they thought…
