it's been a bit since my last post and i wanted to fix that, and now is the perfect time. i've been going through a VERY rough time this past week, especially in love. we all know how addictive tarot readings can become, especially when you're asking about another person. this is why i have personally elected to not do readings on myself... at the very least with emotionally charged situations. it gets SO hard to not ask my deck "what are his feelings towards me?" or "what will happen between us next?" i want to make it clear that these questions aren't inherently bad. the problem is that when you do it yourself, you're open to even more bias than usual with readings. i've already made it up in my head that this person doesn't like me, or that they don't want to see me again. the cards might reflect that answer, or they might not. the point is, you have to be open to seeing your worst fear if you're going to be doing readings on yourself. i personally am not. i don't have the mental bandwidth to read for myself like i do for others and that's okay. the moral of the story is to only do readings on yourself when you're not emotionally vulnerable, and if you can handle the idea of every single card you don't want to see being there. if you too are on the struggle bus when it comes to love, i see you and i get you. love sucks sometimes, but it can be an extremely healthy and lucrative thing. which is why i'd always vote to never truly give up on it. don't forget to take care of yourselves first though.
