As much as modelling brings so much confidence and joy, the fashion world is also extremely exploitative. I wish I could name and shame but that kind of behaviour is looked down upon and could ruin my career (of which is really just starting) Money really is time. Castings are not paid, and London is extremely expensive, on transport alone it can regularly cost £8 a day just to get around London at fashion week and unfortunately most models are never compensated. Currently, I have two hospitality jobs and many agencies to keep happy. Off the back of a fully self funded Paris contract, I am finally starting a buy me a coffee :)
