This book provides simple approach to basic music theory as well a collection of songs in a progressive sequence to practice the theory introduced and provide a repertoire for those that are just starting out in music. The theories and music reading sections although focused on lyres are applicable and can be transferred to other instruments. Please note, because lyres come in different shapes, sizes and string configurations, the book is focused more on providing a solid general music foundation. It is not a method book. It does touch on different techniques to introduce the most common ones. The bonus video tutorials for plucking technique will take you step by step on how to use and strengthen each fingers and then combined. Please take advantage of the bonus tutorials.
