Its always really tempting to want to have the last word, to make a final stand and to prove your point definitively beyond doubt, but to what end? If you’re frustrating others with your passive aggressive and stubborn approach then your point is already lost because no is going to listen or take notice. People are looking at you like “oh here they go again, loving the sound of their own voice” and to a point, you do. You don’t always have to be right even when you know you are. It’s far more humble to concede defeat on occasion and allow someone else to feel victorious. Your holier than thou attitude really isn’t earning you any favour just now so without sounding too harsh, it’s time to button it. Sometimes people have to learn things their own way without being told or constantly proven wrong. Life is a lesson we all have to learn our own way and at the moment, your big mouth just doesn’t need added to the mix. It’s time for you to walk away and focus on what’s going on in your own life and not interfering in others. Let them be and let them make their own mistakes because the truth here is, once you butt out, they won’t make the mistakes because they won’t be feeling anxious, nervous or under the spotlight and without your overbearing presence, they will flourish in their own way in their own time, thus proving you wrong and when that time comes the slice of humble pie you need to swallow down will be done silently and reflectively as you too have learned a valuable lesson, one of not sticking your nose in where it’s not wanted.
