Events and entertainment in the UK are open once again!
This is great! You can go out with your mates, see your family properly, and perhaps go to your jobs that maybe you weren't able to before, even with the last lockdown lift.
It also means that I'll be returning to my job at the bar, and have less time to dedicate to this. Not so bad, it means £££ and more material for Jo's Bar, which can only be a good thing. I've been struggling with the writing a bit - making things funny doesn't come naturally to me per se, but I've recruited a few keen friends to help me with the job.
Nothing major to report with the new build :
There are three, WHOLE, unbroken quests, including the kitty cat quest which is now fully fixed.
Added a VIP dance area (currently empty, though you can look around and think about what to expect from it).
Faffed around with more music/SFX stuffs.
A very kind soul tipped me off regarding a Linux bug, which I have an idea of how to fix, but will require more people testing to fully get to the bottom of.
NB. It's worth noting that I only know this prototype to work 100% on Windows - and the fact that it has worked on Linux up until now has been an absolute fluke..!
I do hope you're all excited about being able to go back to doing the normal things. For me it's a sort of bitter-sweet feeling, knowing that it means Jo's Bar will take a lot longer to reach fruition.
