I'm just getting started here, but I have some big plans! Here's a little teaser of what you can expect to see:
Octopus for Octoprint - An Android app to simplify interacting with Octoprint. I wrote it to handle my specific use-case of needing an interface at my printers to prepare and start prints. It can support multiple instances of Octoprint (for those with more than 1 printer) and a couple of plug-ins (Spool Manager & Slicer Images).
Ender 3 V2 Multiple Extruders - I've modded my Ender 3 v2 with a second extruder. The process wasn't too difficult, uses the stock mainboard, and works very well! I will post a full write-up of the process and what other capabilities that could be unlocked!
NFC Spool Manager - I put NFC tags on all my filament spools and created an Arduino/ESP8266 NFC reader to update the active spool in Octoprint's SpoolManager plugin. This was a fun project that tied together a number of my hobbies - 3d Printing, microcontrollers, and Android development. It introduced me to Python coding, Octoprint Plugin development, NFC encoding, and MIT's AppInventor for Android. This one will be broken down into multiple posts to cover each topic individually.
