Most people can’t build authority in 90 days.
Do you know the key problems in your industry?
Most people haven’t taken the time to find the best way to help people solve a big problem with empathy and appear nearly altruistic. Meaning choose a subject you are insanely interested in; one that you could read and write about all day long without getting bored.
Does your offer, your network or your company do something of value people can’t easily duplicate?
“becoming authority” - no one will perceive you as an authority unless you’re frequently seen as one of the industry influencers who gets the job done!
“gaining authority status” - “fake it till you make it” route – pretending to be an authority and doing everything that an authority would do, while not necessarily being one leads to #impostersyndrome
Major search engines measure popularity therefore TRUE subject authorities are not usually recognized by influencers of the mainstream.
Focus on the 3 platforms and mediums with a responsive user base that best reaches your influential audience in a series-style campaign. Briefly detail how working with you solves these problems; and recognize the TOP influencers who influenced you!
Make time for engagement. Automation shouldn’t be noticeable or rude. Once a client has to question your humanity, you’ve lost their trust.
Know When to Say ‘No’
Expert status does not come quickly! The real trick to becoming an authority is visibility and awareness outside of your client base. Do you know how to give customers a positive incentive for sharing their unique perk with you? Remember how special you make them feel. Why would they want to spread the love?
Bring your own angle to the table.
Building your business is a LOT like dating. The social approach of going deep and narrow can be more beneficial than spreading your attention wide and shallow. Being able to avoid "cost-cutting" distractions or the pitfall of becoming a one-stop shop can make or break your partnerships.

It's about bringing positive mental health, community and friendship back into the entrepreneurial lifestyle. There's nothing wrong with healthy competition but if you are selling mineral water, my essential oil business would be more of a complement not a competitor.
Share and curate other's content as much as possible
... as long as it is relevant to your audience and a business, product or person you find value in, having a friend can be a positive during the holidays or off-peak seasons.
