GEN.G Esports currently possesses a roster considered among the strongest in the world, but the management believes Duro is still not up to par to accompany the rest of the star-studded lineup.
Therefore, they have shifted their attention to Kael, the support from Anyone’s Legend, who had a very impressive performance at the recent Worlds. A famous insider in the Korean LoL scene also confirmed that GEN and Kael are in the process of contact, with both sides showing willingness to cooperate.
If negotiations fail, Kael will continue to stay in the LPL, and may not necessarily return to the LCK.
