Abuse isn't always physical. And I don't think we talk about that enough. Because I posted the last video I made with Be Your Own Kind's Renita Quirl, I'm listening to us talk about Jada Pinkette Smith, and Will Smith.
It's obvious to me, that when you are constantly forcing someone to do something they don't want to do, when you aren't listening to their boundaries, when you aren't respecting the word "No," you are causing harm to those same people that you claim to love.
But you can't love someone you stab over and over and over again. Eventually that person is going to die, and there's going to be nothing left, and you're going to be the reason why.
I think the reason it's been a minute is because I was so focused on building my library of stories across so many social media platforms, I ran out of steam. But I am back and I am ready to advocate for victims and survivors alike.
I am going to be doing more research on mental health and abuse, and I'll be sharing my findings here and in other places, but if you're still here, thanks for watching my page. I appreciate you.
