I think it's important that folks understand where I am right now. Im close to getting housing.. Hopefully in Sept! But its been hard apartment searching and showing up for CommUNITY with no transportation.
I've spent years showing up for people, families, movements, and my CommUNITY.

After being gentrified out of Kingston... and ALL the hits my family have taken as individuals.. I'm feeling the totality as the Matriarch of my family. I'm trying to stay alive. I'm trying to find housing. I'm trying to rebuild and create enough stability to keep doing the work I love.
And part of that stability is getting my car.🚗
Having reliable transportation would make a HUGE difference. It would allow me to actually get where I need to go, show up for people, attend community events, distribute resources, and do the work I've always done.
