As many of you know, my days look a little different lately. I’m homeschooling my five-and-a-half-year-old son, and while I need all the help (and coffee) I can get, I wouldn’t trade this for the world. Having him home isn’t just about the extra time together; it’s about safety, connection, and a tailored education. There is nothing more glorious than watching his face light up when a new concept finally "clicks." Seeing this bright little soul expand mentally, emotionally, and physically every single day is the greatest project I’ve ever been a part of.
But let’s be real: it is not an easy task! I’ve spent most of my life as an artist and a musician. And while I’ve always worked with children—from babysitting to helping family—parenting and teaching a vibrant 5-year-old 24/7 is as exhausting as it is rewarding. It’s a full-time symphony of patience and energy!
The best part? He’s finally at the age where he’s appreciating art. We aren't just learning anymore—we are creating.
