This week my language club, The Language Gang, took flight on a brand-new month-long language challenge (the first of many!) and I would love for you to come along! Join the langauge club via the Memberships page here and you'll get access to the Discord and the challenge.
It’s called The Language Passport. It's a 30-day challenge from 12 October to 10 November for every language and every level. It's not so much a challenge as it is motivational and community-building. Each day you practice, you collect a "stamp" in your travel "passport", designed by me 🥰 We don't count minutes, just showing up daily.
So far, it's been really fun seeing what everyone in the language club has shared as their goals and first day of learning. Here are some from the challenge materials and Discord:
A peek into what you get with the challenge:
Your boarding pass. You start by choosing your goal: Weekender (15 stamps), Traveler (20) or Frequent Flyer (30). Then you write down what you want to be able to do by Day 30.
Weekly club challenges. One shared activity each week, from introducing yourself to teaching the club a word with no English translation :D
Live events. Study-together sessions, speaking practice and more!
A printable kit. For paper and iPad lovers, there is a passport kit with a flight log, window seat check-ins and an arrival card, plus an idea bank with 64 practice ideas, 30 conversation topics and my favorite study tips!

You can board at any time. Your Day 1 is simply the day you post your boarding pass, and we all land together on 10 November. Even few days of steady practice will take you further than you think ⭐️
