En route pour le Mountain Zebra 🦓 National Park à quelques kilomètres de la ville de Cradock... 😜 Il y a interêt que le parc soit pas trop "cradosse"... 😉🤣
Arrivé à l'entrée du parc, Madame la Security nous casse d'entrée les 🍬🍬 avec notre Hector. Elle fait même venir son chef habillé tout en militaire avec son joli écusson de Mr Big Boss et c'est parti pour un monstrueux "Blablabla blablabla." Selon eux, impossible de rentrer dans le parc avec Hector. 😵💩 Seul solution, le laisser à la gate, l'isoler dans un sac, 🫣🤣 dans une pièce et le récupérer à la fin de notre séjour. 😬😜 Comme nous avons réservé le camp pour 2 nuits, on s'exécute mais... 😜🫣 Matt redouble (de colère 😱) et d'imagination en appuyant bien sur le fait qu'Hector est notre fétiche protecteur des routes et que si malheureusement il arrive quelque chose entre temps, le mauvais œil viendra "s'abattre" sur eux car c'est eux qui nous ont obligé de l'enlever et qui l'on touché en dernier... 🤭😝
Bref, on se marre bien mais faut dire, que l'on s'y est attaché à ce crâne et on commence presque à croire en son sérieux pouvoir protecteur. 🌟😁🛻
Remis de toutes ces histoires, on prend le cap pour le camping du parc qui est à une quinzaine de kilomètres de tôle ondulée. 😱💩 Super, y a tout qui tremble et notre "gros" à de nouveau ses crises de rhumatismes qui sortent. Mise à part ça, c'est BEAU et on voit les stars du parc. 🦓 🤩
Le lendemain, départ après le petit déjeuner pour une petite boucle sur les pistes du parc. Étonnement, pas de tôle ondulée sur cette partie mais un joli velours qui redonne le sourire à la tribu, qui remet notre gros en pleine forme et, en + le ☀️ revient timidement. 🤘 Youppiiii !!! 😁 Sinon, c'est le défilé des animaux avec une autre espèce à chaque kilomètre, c'est que du bonheur.
Et le clou du spectacle sera les deux guépards à quelques kilomètres de la fin de notre boucle. 😍🤗
Il y en a une qui est aux anges et même si le début avait mal commencé voilà que ça se termine en beauté. 🤩

On our way to Mountain Zebra National Park 🦓, just a few kilometers from the town of Cradock... 😜 The park better not be too "dirty"... 😉🤣
Upon arriving at the park entrance, the security guard immediately put us through the wringer with our son, Hector. She even called in her boss, dressed head-to-toe in military gear with his fancy Mr. Big Boss badge, and then it was off to the races with a monstrous "Blah blah blah blah." According to them, it was impossible to enter the park with Hector. 😵💩 The only solution was to leave him at the gate, put him in a bag, 🫣🤣 in a room, and pick him up at the end of our visit. 😬😜 Since we booked the campsite for 2 nights, we went along with it, but... 😜🫣 Matt doubled down (with anger 😱) and imagination, emphasizing that Hector is our protective road charm and that if anything happens in the meantime, the bad luck will "fall" on them because they were the ones who forced us to remove him and were the last to touch him... 🤭😝
In short, we're having a good laugh, but we have to admit, we've grown attached to this skull and we're almost starting to believe in its serious protective powers. 🌟😁🛻
Having recovered from all that, we head to the park's campsite, which is about fifteen kilometers away on a corrugated road. 😱💩 Great, everything's shaking and our "big guy" is having another bout of rheumatism. Apart from that, it's BEAUTIFUL and we see the park's stars. 🦓 🤩
The next day, after breakfast, we set off for a short loop on the park's trails. Surprisingly, there was no corrugated metal on this section, but lovely velvet that brought smiles back to the faces of the whole family, revived our big guy, and, what's more, the sun timidly returned. 🤘 Hooray!!! 😁 Otherwise, it was a parade of animals with a different species every kilometer; pure bliss.
And the highlight of the trip will be the two cheetahs a few kilometers from the end of our loop. 😍🤗
One of them is over the moon, and even though it started off badly, it's ending beautifully. 🤩
