On quitte notre petit bout de terre pour faire le fameux col qui relie Barberton soit l'Afrique du Sud à l'Eswatini par le poste frontière de Bulembu. La route est juste SPLENDIDE !!! 🤩 Le temps n'est pas forcément totalement avec nous, mais ça donne une petite ambiance mystique supplémentaire !!! 👌🤩
Nos 👀 en prennent plein la vue. On traverse des plantations forestières avec tantôt de la vue sur de la végétation d'un vert "Suisse", des collines remplies d'herbe et des plantations de pins et d'eucalyptus à n'en plus finir, bref c'est MAGIQUE !!! On nous l'avait conseillé et nous n'avons pas été décu !!! 🌍🤩
Arrivé au poste de frontière du côte ZA, la douanière nous informe que nous sommes presque en "overstay" au niveau de la durée de notre séjour pour 2024... 🫣🫠 ça tombe bien, 2025 n'est pas très loin !!! 🤣😆
Après un petit tampon, nous voilà en transit vers le poste de l'Eswatini. Arrivé au bureau, tout est rapide et efficace. 👍😃 (Certainement parce que le bureau fermait à 16h et qu'il était 16h04 !!! 🤣😂)
On obtient 30 jours pour la visite de ce pays méconnu et par la même occaz, on espère un bugg informatique général du côté des douanes Sud Af !!! 🤣🫣 (Pourvu qu'ils nous oublient un peu...) 😉 Inchallah !!! 🤩🇿🇦🌍
Niveau route, après un boulevard du côté Sud Af, c'est place à une belle route africaine, 🤣 parsemée de nids d'autruches et de goudron défoncés !! Bienvenue en Afrique !!! 🫣🤣 Et selon les habitants, la descente sur Pigg's Peak et encore bien pire !!! 😱🫠 Génial, c'est exactement la route que l'on emprunte demain !!! 😆👌
On se trouve un Spot dodo tout pourri, la pluie s'invite à la fête et pour couronner le toute, les douches sont dignes d'une ancien vestiaire de foot d'un club soviétique...😆🫣
Bref, c'est pourri mais y a de l'eau et on peut se mettre à la "chotte" alors elle n'est pas belle la vie ?!? 👌🤣

We leave our little piece of land to take the famous pass that links Barberton (South Africa) to Eswatini via the Bulembu border post. The road is just SPLENDID!!! 🤩 The weather isn't necessarily totally with us, but it gives a little extra mystical vibe!!!! 👌🤩
Our 👀 take it all in. We cross forest plantations with sometimes views of ‘Swiss’ green vegetation, grass-filled hills and endless pine and eucalyptus plantations, in short it's MAGICAL!!!! It was recommended to us and we were not disappointed!!!! 🌍🤩
Arriving at the border post on the ZA coast, the customs officer informs us that we are almost in ‘overstay’ in terms of the duration of our stay for 2024.... 🫣🫠 Good thing 2025 isn't far away!!! 🤣😆

In short, it's rotten but there's water and you can have a go at the ‘chotte’ so isn't life great?!? 👌🤣
