Stop. Pause. Roll.
In business and in life, we’re often told to either go all in or cut it off. Keep building—or quit. But what if there’s a third option?
The pause.
Not everything needs an immediate decision. In fact, sometimes the wisest move is to pause—intentionally.
To give yourself breathing room.
To let the dust settle.
To pray, reflect, or just wait.
You don’t have to rush to shut something down or force yourself to keep moving if the clarity just isn’t there yet. A pause can be powerful. Strategic. Healing.
Lately, I’ve been leaning into this option more and more. Allowing myself the freedom to say, “I’m not deciding right now. I’ll revisit this in a week… or a month.”
Whether it’s a business venture, a project, or even a relationship—pausing doesn’t mean quitting. It means honoring the process and choosing wisdom over urgency.
So if you’re standing at a crossroads, remember:
You can stop.
You can roll.
But you can also pause.
And that’s not weakness—that’s maturity.
