5 Days In New York City
My oldest daughter and I work in the music industry. We are always at a concert but never get to see the concert. So, We decided, in order to celebrate our hard work in the 2026 concert season, we would take a 5 day vacation to NYC to see a few concerts. We originally had our days lined up of Harry Styles, Suki Waterhouse and then 3 days of the All Things Go festival.
Unfortunately, but kinds fun honestly, a NorEaster hit the coast as we started our vacation and All Things Go was canceled. We stayed September 23-28 and Had tickets for Harry Styles on September 23 at Madison Square Garden. Tickets for Suki Waterhouse at Radio City Music Hall on September 24. All Things go was supposed to be at Forest Hills Stadium September 25-27, so we quickly found concerts to fill those days.
We got tickets to Phoebe Bridgers at Barclays Center on September 25. Got tix for Harry Styles at Madison Square Garden on September 26. MUNA was supposed to be headlining All Things Go so they quickly announced a show at Brooklyn Steel on September 27 and we got tix for that! Those 5 days ended up being exactly what we needed to end the 2026 concert season.
Harry Styles
My daughter and I took the train into Penn Station and went directly to early merch for Harry. We got all the merch we wanted, which included the NYC and MSG exclusives and were able to snag a poster for that night too! YAY! We checked into our hotel and took the train to the Harry Styles NYC pop up. The line wasn't too bad. We waited about over an hour. That pop up was so fun and we saw someone we had worked merch for BTS with so that's fun!
I definitely need to find out how to work merch for Harry next year though! Honestly, my daughter and I are seriously manifesting it so if you get the form to work merch for him next year, please send it to me HERE!! Let's work together.
Once we were done buying merch at the pop up and enjoying all that was in there, we went back to our hotel to get ready for the show! I got the Amex exclusive and NYC exclusives I wanted! You definitely have to check out the pop up. It was done so well. So many things to see and do in that pop up!
We arrived to MSG a little before Harry's opener started so we got the mocktail and exclusive cup and went to our seats. Really incredible seats by the way! Lower bowl! I had been so excited for so many months about our seats and seeing what our view was like was just amazing!
Harry put on an incredible show. Being in there, experiencing that show, is so incredible. You need to get a ticket and go if you haven't yet. Just keep checking Ticketmaster. They do have some tix available sometimes for the rest of the shows
Suki Waterhouse
I bought our Suki tix a few months before we went and really didn't pay attention to where our seats were. So, when the usher took us to our seats and just kept walking further down to the stage, I was in shock. I think we had 8th row or something. Aisle seat too! Really great view. Suki put on such an incredible show. Our seats happened to be even better because Suki came right down or aisle to walk into the crowd up and down so that was pretty cool.
As my daughter and I were watching Suki perform, she saw on Instagram that Phoebe had brought out the other two of Boygenius to perform at Barclays Center and we got tix right away for the next night since All Things Go had been canceled. I thought there was no way they would be there for night two but why not go see if we were there with nothing to do!?
Charlotte Lawrence was opening for Suki at RCMH and she was absolutely incredible. You need to check out her music! So talented. I was very impressed!
After the Suki concert, we were hungry so we took the train to the East Village and got Nan Xiang Soup Dumplings at 15 Saint Marks Place. We had the pork soup dumplings and the green beans. You need this in your life. It was so delicious.
Phoebe Bridgers
I had never been to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn before so this was a new venue for both me and my oldest daughter. It was a phone free concert so we put our phones into pouches when you get to the venue. I love the houses around the venue. Such a beautiful area.
The merch lines were so long but we were able to ind that nights tarot cards on a table by themselves and they were free. I thought they would be at merch and you had to purchase them but they were free. I love free!
We had such incredible seats. We were lower bowl in 6th row not too far from the main stage. We could see Phoebe so good. Her entire show production was literally INSANE! So incredible.
Harry Styles
Our second time seeing Harry was so much fun. I was able to find tickets pretty close to where our seats had been the first night we saw him. I had found a post of where he was supposed to be sat with the piano to sing those songs and he was supposed to be on that side again, so I got similar seats. He ended up being on that side again so that person knows what they are talking about! Harry ended up singing with the piano even closer to us than the first night we saw him. This night was a Saturday show and we got the slutty shorts!
Harry was in such a great mood and the vibes were vibing so high. We had so many people in our section that were dancing and having the best time. I love when everyone in your section is having the best time. It makes the experience so much better.
Seeing Harry Styles twice in a few days at MSG was so incredible.
MUNA
We were able to get tickets to MUNA at Brooklyn Steel and were so excited to go see them in such a small venue. It's one of our favorite venues too so that is so fun! My daughter and I spent the day walking around the West Village in the rain. It was such a vibe.
We took the train to near the venue and took an UBER to the venue. Got in easily and found out it was already packed! We stood in the back and had a great time but obviously, the MUNA fans are super tall so we spent the night trying to see the stage.
No worries though, because it was so much fun to even just be there! They were selling some All Things Go merch for a huge discount so I got a shirt! I was so excited to be able to get ATG merch! MUNAs fans are such a vibe. They were all dancing and singing and it was the best way to finish out our 5 days in NYC!
