Day 21 of The 100 Day Project
You know- I wrote this poem several weeks ago, typed it up, and thought it wasn't good enough so I didn't share it with you. Then I got a bad cold and then an extra 42 minutes a day was added to my teaching school schedule and it was just too much. I am so tired and I get home later now and my free time is more limited. It is getting harder and harder to write.
I went to a poetry conference this weekend and I had to work 8 hours this weekend completing grades as well so I only had one day off and you know what- It was energizing and inspiring to be around poets all weekend. I'm so glad I went.
I decided that I needed to let go of judgment and perfectionism and just put this poem out there. I hope you like it.
