GCSE French Higher Tier Role Play Practice Speaking Exam Preparation

The resource is divided into two sections:

Section 1: Exam Information, Thematic Contexts and Role Plays

Section 2: Role Play Practice

It supports the development of spontaneous speaking skills, fluency and confidence in responding appropriately to exam-style prompts, while familiarising students with the official exam format.

Based on the official Edexcel sample assessment materials, the booklet includes 17 complete role plays covering all 10 exam settings. Each role play features exam-style Candidate and Teacher Cards presented side by side. All tasks and prompts are written in accurate, natural French and are fully aligned with the Edexcel GCSE vocabulary and grammar list.

This resource can be used in lessons (teacher-led, pair work or exam-style practice), for mock exams, homework or revision activities.
