Last year the Indiana Fever finished with the worse record of the WNBA (6-26), but since the end of the 2021 season they've made some drastic improvements. In this years draft the Indiana Fever came away with four top prospects; Destanni Henderson, Emily Engstler, and Lexie Hull, as well as some other young key pieces. The Fever with their pick up of young talent is projected to be one of the best teams to watch this season and at +340 they are definitely being oversold by Vegas. This is a Great Value play for a team that has developed a lot over this past off season.
Pheonix Mercury +154
Though I love Aja Wilson and the Las Vegas Aces, I doubt they can stop the offensive fire power of Diana Taurasi (leagues all time leading scorer), Skylar Diggins ( four time Allstar), and Tina Charles ( last seasons leading scorer). Though the Mercury are missing their star Center Brittany Griner, Im sure their scorers can put up enough points to get them the win.
