Dear Hypernova supporters,
Though my mental health deteriorated to the point I needed to take a long break since last September, 2025 was a huge year that saw the YouTube channel grow to reach the mind-blowing milestone of 2K subscribers. Now we have passed the 4th year anniversary, and it's not without emotion that I look back on the journey and all that's been accomplished. My forced rest made me reevaluate what I want and where I want to go from here on, and I've come to the following decision: this year will be when Nova retires.
My eternal gratitude to all of you who have supported me, allowed me to feed myself enough that I could still continue doing what I love and be less of a burden to my family. I will never be able to say it enough: thank you. May the kindness you showed me be returned to you manyfold, over and over.
After Nova retires, someone new (jokingly called Notva by some Hypernovas) will be taking over the channel. The exact date is not yet fixed as many preparations have to be done in the meantime. Once Nova's current projects are wrapped up and a clearer schedule drawn up, a donothon to fund the future of the channel will be held. The details will be shared subsequently. I hope you will be willing to give this newcomer a chance once they debut.
To be clear, the channel (and all associated platforms) will continue with a new face delivering new content. It will still be music, gaming and other topics with a consistent but less intensive schedule (especially the streams, expect 2-3 streams per week instead of 5).
As for memberships,
I've been wanting to refocus more on music, and have rehauled the different tiers accordingly. The new perks are now geared toward the reoccurring music releases and streams. The different perks will, as previously, be accessed from the Discord server (your role is given to you once you link your accounts, if you're a current member who already accessed the Discord with the role, no further actions are required).
In summary (with new fun names in bonus) :
Tier 1 - Hynitiate (5$) : library of covers (mp3) + early preview of monthly covers
Tier 2 - Hypermate (10$) : all above + live recording of monthly cover
Tier 3 - Hystorian (15$) : all above + access to lost media (unreleased and non public content)
Tier 4 - Hyperelite (25$) : all above + choice of songs for the monthly karaoke among already released covers + high res files of covers (wav)
These new perks will take effect immediately, and members of the corresponding tiers will have access to the content already present. Live recordings will start this month, as well as the choosing of songs for the monthly karaoke.
