I'm writing this in case any of you were wondering "Kiszuko, what's the point in having a supporter only Discord server if you have a public one?" And that is a very valid question, if I'm being honest it's the only 'reward' for my wonderful supporters I can really think of that is viable for the resources and following I have right now.
That being said, the supporter-only Discord server is for those who want to support me (obviously) and who want to see more of whatever chaos I get myself into, closest analogy I can think of is probably a private twitter? (And not THOSE ones) It's a way of me connecting to my supporters through Discord, whether it be with stages whenever I'm free where it's like a podcast and I just talk and respond to you guys or when I'm editing a video or something, sending random voice messages, answering questions, and most importantly updates! Really just a good way for me to connect, chat and update you guys on a better level, I'm aware it's not anything really grand, but I will try and make it as engaging as possible and these are things I would not like to do on a public server. In the end, it's there for the people that are interested in that for some reason ? (please save your money)
That's not to say that the public server is bad and I will leave it in the dust (or at least I'll try not to), the public server is there and I still value it as a separate community space! But it's really hard to treat it like say the supporter one for example especially when it gets too big for moderation and with trolls & weirdos always lurking on the internet so the supporter only server is good at filtering that out, I've had personal experience with this on my last server a couple years ago.
That being said I will still try to have a presence, and I will use the public server for important announcements and obviously speak with my wonderful community on there!
Thank you all for your time,
Kiszuko
