It's been awhile. So much has happened to all of us in the last year and a half. Thank you to my supporters at the beginning of my creative journey in this last third of my life! Today's post finds me working on two different iphone boxes, turning them into 2 room micro mansions for two little girls who live near NYC. Their father reached out to me recently. He had just lost his wife and asked about my boxes after seeing them online. They will be customized for each girl. Keep me in your thoughts as I pray over my work and begin my unique and quirky creative process! I began gathering elements this week and am keeping my eye out for just the right teeniest tiniest items.
My live online theater company, Unboxed Productions, took a hiatus following our fabulous Mother's Day offering, Erma! At Wit's End starring Jennifer Boomer Lashienko. With summer behind us at UP, we have decided to bring you Willy Russel's Shirley Valentine, featuring your's truly, moi! This is a role I have toured for more than 25 years and it is my great pleasure to reprise her in mid November for 4 performances that can only be seen LIVE, in real time, online (cast the show to your wide screen and you will feel like you are in the theater). And....following a long period of time where I could not see my son in NYC, I will be making a trip to NYC in mid October. Your support of my art and craft means the world to me and helps me to keep pushing forward.
