PODCAST LAUNCH: Scrappy Kimberly - In Search of Excrement!

I'M DOING IT! Finally launching my podcast after 6 months of preparing with a wonderful podcast coach, Russ Johns, my favorite pirate!

The current prototype of my podcast title is "In Search of Excrement - the Crap that Happens in Organizations", and we're going to go deep into the dark side bullshit that is contributing to an epidemic of "BOSSHOLES" and widespread lack of employee engagement on Planet Earth.

Russ tried to talk me out of this "dark side" approach, but listen to my first episode to get a peek at why I chose to jump into the abyss.

This is a "dark side" podcast meant to shine a bright light on the toxic and dysfunctional work environments that suck people's will to live and destroy productivity and profits. Yah, I know it's a bit naughty, socially unacceptable and politically incorrect! Don't like it? No worries! Hang out with the other 8 billion people on Planet Earth who are more acceptable to you. Me, I'm on a MISSION to transform the workplaces of Planet Earth for the better. GET SCRAPPY!

In order to keep my ego out of it, decouple from the need for approval, and have the courage to do this work, I have restarted my chant of "May each person get exactly what they need from our work together, even if that's to HATE it!" Yup, hating what I do in my work can be a path to positively transformational change. One graduate of a 10 week program I facilitated on "Project Leadership & Communication" for UC Santa Cruz Extension told me "Last year I took your program, and I really hated it! But eventually I was able to see the value and make meaningful changes." That person later recommended me for consulting work at their company.
