Last year as I wrestled with the challenges you and I have faced during the COVID pandemic, I wrote "God in the Fire". Since writing it I've shared the demo version with friends who have faced the loss of a spouse, some who are enduring chemo treatments, and some who feel as though they're drowning in a flood of negative emotions and despair. The song's message has encouraged and comforted them.
I've been working with a brilliant string arranger from Nashville who has created a stunning arrangement for the song. His work perfectly enhances the mood of the lyric. The melodies he has created and performed on cello are full of emotion and pathos.
His string arrangement will be recorded soon and the song will then be mixed and mastered. I look forward to releasing the song and letting its message encourage all who hear it. Proverbs 15:23 says "A person finds joy in giving an apt reply, and how good is a timely word." I believe that "God In The Fire" has a timely message for today and invite you to partner with me here for its release.
