Piers Morgan ROASTS Vile Israeli Ambassador On Live TV!

May 29, 2025

Right, so for as much as I generally have nothing but absolute loathing for Piers Morgan, I have to give him props for systematically dismantling and exposing the absolute drivel pouring from the ever scornful lips of Israel’s ambassador to the UK Tzipi Hotovely, showing her up not only for being poor at her job, not being across her brief as she should be, but also for exposing her abject denials and her desperation when she of course reached for all the typical lines Zionists reach for in their utter desperation to shield themselves by playing the victim card.

The crux of the argument that stands out most however is the ongoing denials that Israel are targeting children, that innocents are not targeted, but that Hamas do that, that they are used as human shields by Hamas, yet despite being so ardently pro Israel for so long, Morgan proved he can actually do journalism properly when for as much as I grudgingly have to admit it, he gave a masterclass in how to deal with Israeli politicians and not backing down when all the overly used accusations come at you. It’s a lesson more of us need to learn, because all the insults and accusations of racism aren’t true and we shouldn’t be afraid of confronting that. What’s a verbal insult compared to what the people of Gaza are being put through after all?

Right, so that was a short clip of Pier’s Morgan’s show, the interview did go on a bit more than that and Hotovely had an absolute mare, confronted with questions that have long demanded answers. What followed was a damning spectacle, for as much as Morgan held her to account, she gave a masterclass in deflection, denial, and distortion, revealing the moral bankruptcy at the heart of her defence of Israel's actions in Gaza. Her performance—for that is what it was, was laced with weak justifications, moral grandstanding, and baseless accusations thrown back on Morgan and it has rightly sparked outrage aimed at her with rare praise for Morgan. I shouldn’t worry too much about that though, he’s bound to upset us again before very much longer over something. Fundamentally, it exposed not only the indefensibility of the Israeli state's actions in Gaza but also the lengths to which its defenders will go to obscure reality, but more importantly, how to push back against it, because Morgan didn’t let her accusations stand.

She accused of blood libel, I don’t remember him accusing her of eating babies, but certainly we know Israel are killing them.

He highlighted she didn’t know her brief when Israel can claim to know how many Hamas fighters they have killed, but not how many children.

Hotovely’s appearance was marked by blanket denials of widely reported atrocities. She categorically rejected the notion that Israel targets children, even as the death toll from its relentless bombardment of Gaza surpasses 54,000, with over 70% of victims being women and children. In a region where half the population is under 18, the logical and horrifying conclusion is that this has always been, at its core, a war on children.

Despite overwhelming evidence, Hotovely insisted that Israel does not target civilians, rendering any discussion of civilian deaths irrelevant in her view. They’re irrelevant. 54,000 deaths, irrelevant? What kind of inhuman monster is she? This is not merely a distortion of the truth; it is a denial of reality! The United Nations, Médecins Sans Frontières, and numerous independent journalists have all confirmed the systematic targeting of civilian infrastructure, including hospitals, schools, and residential buildings.

Hospitals are particularly being targeted, they’re being singled out in fact, as a Haaretz investigation reported on by Quds News Network has exposed:

‘A new investigation by Israeli Haaretz has confirmed that the Israeli military intensified its attacks on hospitals and clinics across Gaza over the past week. At least ten medical facilities were struck, forcing many out of service and pushing Gaza’s health system closer to collapse.

The attacks began with a major strike on the European Hospital in Khan Younis. That assault marked the beginning of Israel’s expanded ground operation, now called “Operation Gideon’s Chariots.” Since then, medical centers in multiple areas of Gaza have come under heavy fire.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), 28 separate attacks on Gaza hospitals were recorded in just one week — 4% of the total attacks on hospitals since the genocide began in October 2023.’

Most recently, since I’ve brought up WHO, here Israel have also just refused to allow the World Health Organization to transfer vital medical equipment from a bombed-out Gaza hospital, the European Hospital, which as unique gear, such as neurosurgery microscopes and cardiac catheterisation equipment to another facility demonstrates a blatant disregard for human life in Gaza. This isn’t a wartime accident; it’s a deliberate act of cruelty.

Then of course there are the witness accounts. According to volunteer surgeon Dr. Faroze Sidwha, who testified before the UN Security Council, the majority of patients he treated were children, pregnant women, and the elderly—not a single Hamas combatant among them. His accounting of what he has treated and he has witnessed will freeze your blood and YouTube would never pass this video if I spoke of it here. So do refer to the Skwawkbox article in the description, even the title of which I’ve had to censor.

When Morgan dared to suggest that such disproportionate killing could only be seen as deliberate, Hotovely accused him of invoking a "blood libel"—a grotesque and cynical attempt to shut down legitimate criticism by conflating it with antisemitism. It is not only morally repugnant; it is a total lie. He asked a damn question that you dare not answer and to his credit he called you out on it in exactly the right way. How dare they keep weaponising racism to cover for their atrocities. Why should we fear being called racist by such people who are prepared to stoop so low? It weaponizes historical trauma to defend present-day war crimes, silencing dissent through guilt and fear. It is this very conflation that has allowed figures like Hotovely to enjoy significant protection from politicians like Keir Starmer and his government, who have largely refused to criticize Israel’s actions, certainly insofar as calling them what they are – a genocide.

Meanwhile, the Metropolitan Police has aggressively cracked down on protests near the Israeli embassy and Hotovely’s residence, arresting peaceful activists, including people such as Jewish anti-genocide campaigner Yael Kahn. These actions starkly contrast the freedom afforded to Hotovely to disseminate what many now see as propaganda, unchallenged and protected by state apparatus here in the UK, when they should be putting her on a plane to Israel.

It’s no surprise that calls for Hotovely’s expulsion from the UK are growing louder though. Her continued presence is increasingly seen as a symbol of UK complicity in an unfolding atrocity and there is little sign of Starmer changing his ways as amidst claims of suspending a trade deal with Israel, less than a week later the UK trade envoy to Israel pops up in Haifa. Against such blatant acquiescence and inaction on Starmer’s part though, over 800 legal figures in the UK, including judges and barristers, have called on Keir Starmer to impose sanctions on Israel for its conduct in Gaza. Middle east Eye picked this story up:

‘In an open letter sent to UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer this week, the signatories, who include former Supreme Court justices Lord Sumption and Lord Wilson, say there is mounting evidence that genocide is being perpetrated or is at serious risk of occurring in Gaza.

"Your government must act now, before it is too late," the letter says, referring to the ongoing abuses by Israel in the besieged territory.

The legal experts, who also include former Court of Appeal judges Sir Stephen Sedley, Sir Anthony Hooper and Sir Alan Moses, urge Starmer to sanction Israeli ministers or senior military officials who they say have incited genocide or supported illegal settlements.

They call on the British government to adhere to its fundamental international legal obligations and "use all available means to secure an immediate, unconditional and permanent ceasefire in Gaza and to ensure the urgent, unconditional and unimpeded resumption of aid" to Palestinians.’

Hotovely’s insistence that Hamas uses children as human shields is another hollow excuse that collapses under scrutiny. An AP investigation has confirmed that it is, in fact, Israeli soldiers who have been systematically using Palestinians as human shields in both Gaza and the West Bank. The hypocrisy is glaring, but unlike Hotovely I can back what I say up, with another short excerpt this time from Press TV:

‘One of the witnesses who spoke to the AP, Abu Hamadan, was detained in August after being separated from his family in northern Gaza. He said Israeli forces told him he’d be helping with a “special mission.”

Dressed in army fatigues with a camera fixed to his forehead, Abu Hamadan said he was forced into houses across Gaza to ensure they were clear of bombs and gunmen. For 17 days, he was compelled to search homes and inspect tunnels, while Israeli soldiers stood behind him and entered buildings only after he had cleared them for threats.

Each night, Abu Hamadan said he was bound in a dark room, waking the next day to repeat the ordeal. The only time he wasn’t blindfolded or restrained was when he was used as a human shield, the report said.’

Further afield the cracks in relations with Israel are widening too. Germany, traditionally one of Israel’s staunchest allies, has now openly questioned the justification of Israel’s military campaign. Chancellor Friedrich Merz recently stated that the Israeli attacks on Gaza can no longer be seen as a legitimate fight against Hamas. France and Belgium have also joined the chorus of condemnation. Over 300 French writers have called for sanctions, labelling Israel’s actions as genocide, while the Belgian Foreign Minister echoed the term explicitly, following on from Spanish PM Pedro Sanchez last week calling what Israel is doing in Gaza a genocide.

These international rebukes come amid reports of the Israeli government sentencing Palestinian minors to life imprisonment – so children then – life imprisonment, all while expanding its colonial footprint in the West Bank by announcing the construction of 22 new illegal settlements. Each settlement means more displacement, more dispossession, and more trauma inflicted on Palestinian children.

Perhaps no incident exemplifies the grotesque logic of Hotovely’s defence more than the targeted killing of nine children belonging to a Palestinian doctor, whom Israel later claimed were "suspects". They were just little kids. This is the level of depravity now normalised by the Israeli state, excused by their representatives at home and abroad and by branding kids suspects, you can see how they try to justify not targeting children at all. It very much all sounds like the ‘all Palestinians are Hamas’ excuse doesn’t it?

Since October 7th, Israel has dropped the equivalent of six nuclear bombs on Gaza. This scale of destruction is unfathomable. It has left Gaza in ruins, its hospitals destroyed, its food distribution systems obliterated, and its people starving. Even the US-Israeli "aid delivery mechanism" has collapsed in a single day, worsening the crisis and leading to additional deaths rather than providing relief.

And if you weren’t already of the opinion this is a deeply depraved and sick society, Israel has even commodified its war crimes now by turning the bombardment of gaza into a spectacle. At the so-called "Sderot Cinema," Israelis gather with popcorn and drinks to watch airstrikes on Gaza. Israel is now passing off genocide as performance art.

Hotovely’s denials, her victim-blaming, and her scorn for basic human decency are symptomatic of a broader pathology within the current Israeli political establishment. Her media appearances are not about winning arguments but about exhausting truth itself, muddying facts, and sowing confusion. But increasingly, these tactics are failing.

People around the world are waking up. Public opinion is shifting. The narrative is no longer controlled by a small cadre of state-approved spokespersons but shaped by the testimonies of doctors, aid workers, journalists, and survivors. People are listening to those on the ground. They are seeing the videos. They are reading the names of the dead. And they are no longer buying the excuses.

If justice is to mean anything, it must apply equally. If international law has any relevance, it must be enforced consistently. The world cannot continue to turn a blind eye while Gaza is turned into a graveyard. And we must no longer tolerate the likes of Tzipi Hotovely gaslighting the global public while children are buried under rubble. Her very presence in the UK is complicity itself.

The time has come not just for accountability but for action. Sanctions, arrests, prosecutions—expel Hotovely-these are not unreasonable asks, but moral imperatives. And those who defend the indefensible must be met not with polite disagreement, for as much as Morgan held her to account, that is still largely what that was, but with unflinching resistance instead.

Nevertheless, in challenging Hotovely, Piers Morgan did what far too few in the media have dared to do: he asked the right questions. It is up to all of us to demand the right answers though, not just leave it to the likes of Morgan—and to ensure that those answers are not buried under a mountain of spin, obfuscation, and lies any longer.

For more on the Starmer government’s trade envoy, who’s presence has revealed the apparent Israeli trade deal suspension to be another Starmer pack of lies by the looks of it, check out all the details of that story in this video recommendation here as your suggested next watch.
