Full stack dev by trade, exhausted dad by night. Choomie started as a dad hack. I built it because I needed something to keep my son motivated to do his chores that wasn't a chore chart held on with fridge magnets and broken promises. Turns out building a full-stack Laravel + React app was easier than getting a 5-year-old to brush his teeth without negotiation. It's free, it'll stay free, because the whole point was to help families, not extract a subscription fee from tired parents. But servers, domains, and my ongoing caffeine addiction (see: this website) aren't free. so if Choomie's saved your sanity even once, a coffee goes a long way. ☕ No pressure though. Even if you never contribute, I'll still be here, weirdly delighted to have shipped code my son actually uses without an eye-roll.
